EVENT RECAP: CYKO’S (@IAMCYKO_) EXCLUSIVE LISTENING PARTY HOSTED BY: RICH HOMIE QUAN

Lost Key Records recording artist Cyko had an exclusive listening session and video release for his new single ‘So Much Money’ featuring Rich Homie Quan at The House of Stoli (Cool & Dre’s studio). The night was being fill with pleasant vibes, dope music by DJ Epps, and DJ Ivory, and amazing food by the one and only Chef Dee.

Cyko’s humble presence was immediately felt when he stepped into the room. Not only because he was the man of the hour but because he greeted, introduced, and shook everyone’s hand in the room as he entered. That small gesture, earned him so much respect in my eyes. Cyko gave us a first-time listen of his latest project ‘I’m Just Different’.  Cyko was extremely open with us, as he revealed to us stories about his life, his upbringing in a Jamaican household, stories of betrayal, success, good times, and hard times and how it all corresponded with each track. Each track he played us had a personal meaning behind it, which gave us a better understanding of the South Florida artist. Not only does Cyko compose really good music, he also produces as well. Letting it be known that at least 90 percent of the project was produced by him.

Rich Homie Quan was also in attendance enjoying the not yet released music, giving his input, and just vibing to each song being played. Cyko and Rich Homie Quan shared the story of how they linked up and composed the new single ‘So Much Money’.

Just like everyone else I’m awaiting the release of ‘I’m Just Different’, but excited and honored to have been given the chance to get an exclusive listen.
